WellCheck Incentive Opportunity!

FSA Contribution for WellCheck Program

What:
Effective July 1, 2014, the MUS Benefits Plan will provide a $250 contribution to a tax-advantaged medical flexible spending account (FSA) for each active employee plan member who completes a MUS WellCheck during the fall of 2013 or the spring of 2014.  Covered member households are eligible to receive funding up to $500 in the eligible employee’s FSA.  Retirees and affiliate plan members are not eligible for this FSA/WellCheck incentive.

How:
It’s simple!

  1. If you attended a WellCheck during the fall of 2013, you’ve already earned the incentive!
  2. If you did not attend a WellCheck in fall 2013, attend your Spring Wellcheck
  3. Encourage your covered dependents age 18 or older to attend a WellCheck this spring.
  4. Following validation of WellCheck completion, MUS Employee Benefits will provide a contribution to a medical FSA account on your behalf effective July 1, 2014.
  5. Effective July 1 you will have access to the money in your FSA account to pay for qualified medical expenses in accordance with plan rules.

Questions:
A letter will be mailed to your home address this month explaining the FSA Contribution for WellCheck Program in detail.   For now, sign up today for your Spring WellCheck by following the instructions on your WellCheck flyer!
